The confirmed order book already stands at over R400m with contracts for work on the R21, the GFIP upgrade, the N3 and a significant job in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.  An application for a CIDB 9 rating has been submitted and is expected to be confirmed shortly.  Its association with sister company, Roadspan Asphalt Plants (Pty) Ltd, formed in May 2008, provides a significant competitive advantage in many locations around southern Africa.

To execute this work, Roadspan has assembled the best possible skills and experience, and offers clients a full range of surfacing options, including:

This wealth of expertise ensures the highest quality and most cost effective delivery of:

  • In situ recycling: The company’s Wirtgen WR2000 rotary mixer can recycle to depths of up to 500mm on a drum width of 2.0m, and is capable of conventional stabilising as well as emulsion stabilising.  We are also in the process of accessing 2 additional deep milling machines to provide much needed capacity in this area.  Highly experienced operators undertake levelling using a CAT 140 grader;

  • Workshop: All machines in the company fleet are fully maintained in its well equipped workshop, and for larger contracts, a full time on-site technician is available for swift establishment to site and to minimise downtime.
